“Who is Jack?”
I'm a versatile operator and thoughtful leader with a career defined by range—across industries, disciplines, and environments. From factory floors to luxury camps, from behind the seafood counter to the boardroom, I build systems that empower people and scale impact.
My path started at Northwestern University, where I studied psychology with a focus on human behavior, systems, and motivation. I paired that with industrial design coursework, which challenged me to create solutions that were not only functional but deeply human-centered. It was at the intersection of systems and empathy that I first began to understand my own wiring—curious, analytical, and drawn to complexity with purpose.
After college, I moved into the world of public relations, working at Inkhouse. That experience taught me how to distill complex ideas into compelling narratives—how brand, audience, and authenticity intersect. I learned that storytelling isn’t just marketing—it’s leadership. It’s how you align people around vision and values. That lens of narrative has stayed with me in every team, project, and strategy since.
I then stepped into a fast-moving, hands-on role at Boston Centerless, where I wore multiple hats—starting in logistics, filling in as a customer experience manager during a sudden transition, and eventually taking on the role of manufacturing manager. It was here that I led diverse teams on the shop floor, implemented new systems, trained staff on quoting software, and helped position the company as it ramped up for a private equity transaction. I learned how operations, leadership, and trust intersect—especially when timelines are tight and standards are high.
Wanting to deepen my strategic foundation, I pursued my MBA at Babson College, where I focused on entrepreneurship, M&A, financially-driven leadership, and the world of search funds. Babson sharpened my ability to think like an owner while expanding my understanding of how to align teams, capital, and purpose. During this time, I also leaned into sustainability, systems thinking, and waste-to-wealth business models that connected my passion for innovation with real-world execution.
Most recently, I serve as Camp Manager at The Resort at Paws Up, a premiere glamping destination in Montana. There, I oversee hospitality operations, food and beverage service, and team dynamics in a high-touch, high-standards environment. I lead teams across languages and generations, manage real-time service recovery, and create unforgettable experiences for guests—all while upholding Forbes Standards. It is a place where my love of food, people, and operational excellence all came together.
Outside of work, I recharge with adventure. I seek adrenaline in the mountains—skiing, longboarding forest roads—and joy in community, often hosting friends and cooking up something great. I bring that same mix of calm and drive into every professional setting: grounded in people, built for systems, and wired for long-term growth.
Now, I’m ready to bring my full range of experience—spanning design, operations, leadership, and strategy—into an organization that values execution with heart, innovation, and teamwork.
